Everyone ready for a group christmas carol sing-a-long? Ready?
(to the tune of Jingle bells)
Dashing through the bush,
In a rusty Holden ute
Kicking up the dust
esky in the boot
Kelpie by my side
Singing Christmas songs,
It's Summer time
and I am in my singlet, shorts and thongs!
That's right, it's Christmas time in Australia! I'm sure that for non-aussies there was more than enough slang in just one short verse of Aussie Jingle Bells, but to clarify for all those raising their eyebrows in astonishment, Aussie thongs are worn on your feet, we aren't all telling you about our underwear!
So of course the theme for our challenge this time is
CHRISTMAS
and because our next challenge would normally fall on Christmas Eve, we are extending this challenge until Wednesday 28th December. So you have plenty of time to enter.
