Challenge #6 - Jacaranda

Hello Everyone,

This is a wonderful time of year for many places in Australia for it's when you see the ever amazing and wonderful blooms of the Jacaranda tree. At this time of year, scattered in amongst the native plants and trees, rises a sea of purple blossoms.

Where Linda and I grew up there are some wonderfully established Jacaranda trees. My Mum tells me that they were gifts from the local hospital to new mothers when babies were born. Isn't that just lovely?

So this fortnight we want you to be inspired by the lovely Jacaranda in our photo below. Some say the blooms are purple, some say blue (I say it's a bluey purple) and of course you can use trees or blossoms. Let's see where your creativity takes you. This photo was taken on the grounds of the university I studied at in Sydney.

Challenge #5 - Summer

Well here in the Land Down Under it's Springtime, but given temperatures are already starting to reach 37°C where I live in Sydney (that's a mere 98°F for those unfamiliar with celcius), it sure feels like Summer already. 

So it's no surprise that our challenge this fortnight is
