Hello All and welcome to a new challenge at The Squirrel and The Fox.
As I am sure you are all aware, here in Australia Christmas falls in the middle of Summer. When temperatures are sweltering it means the idea of a traditional Christmas feast is just too hard to contemplate. Unless you are prepared to travel, dreaming of a white Christmas is an exercise in futility! So many Aussies also celebrate Christmas in July, when the weather is at its coldest. Here we can bundle up in our winter woolies, eat a traditional Christmas roast, snuggle up by the fire and see how those in the Northern Hemisphere enjoy their Christmas.
So of course given today is the first day of July, it's only fitting our theme for this challenge be
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
